Mangrove Tour at Lembongan Island

Mangrove tour is one of activity that you can do in Lembongan Island. Seat on small traditional floating wooden boat called Sampan, with capacity up to 4 people, then the guide will start rowing the Sampan by long wooden stick. You will be escorted to explore the mangrove for about 30 - 45 minutes. What are interesting on this tour? Know the mangrove tree, how it protect landside, the habitat, the ecosystem, the flower and fruit of Mangrove, the singing bird, etc.

How to Reach Lembongan Island? Faster By Fast Boat!

Please consider the schedule to reach and leave Lembongan Island, There are many boat name, i.e Tamarind, Rocky, Lemboangan Fast Boat, Scoot, Dream Beach, Mushroom,etc.

Boat from/to Sanur Harbour:

Depart from Sanur is the most favourite.

1. The latest boat to Lembongan is at about 17.30. If possible, please take earlier boat schedule to avoid over booking.

2. The earliest boat to Lembongan Island is at 08.30.

3. Harbour in Lembongan Island may be at Jungutbatu or Mushroom Beach.

4. Tell boat company to escort you to the hotel, usually they have free shuttle service.

5. Luggage: If you stay only 1 or 2 night in Lembongan, please bring only light luggage. You can leave your heavy luggage at hotel in Bali.

Boat from Benoa Harbour

Depart from Benoa Harbour offer you various vessel, ie. fast boat; fast cruise; Pirate Cruise; and especially catamaran. The service and price also a bit higher rather then from Sanur. Schedule depart to Lembongan is at 15.00; schedue depart from Benoa Harbour is at 09.00. Depart from Benoa Harbor is the most favorite if you combine it with day cruise activity or sailing by catamaran.

Boat from Serangan Island

There is one boat depart from Serangan Island, named Blue Water Express. You may use this as alternative.

Boat from Penida Island

Penida Island is one of rising destination. Many tourist depart from Sanur to Penida, then from Penida to Lembongan. There is no regular boat from Penida. In the morning (before 09.00), you can join local public boat that sail across the island. The price is less then USD 10/pax/way.

After 09.00, it is very difficult to get the boat. Usually boat owner will advise you to take charter that cost at least IDR 450,000/way from Toya Pakeh Harbour, Penida. This is not about the distance or price, but it is because you charter the boat. To make it cheaper, we advise you to accross the island together with other guest, then charter the boat so that the price become more affordable.
